Selling to Russians News: New Ways of Successful Advertising to Russian Buyers
November 04, 2015

Hi Everyone,

New Ways of Successful Advertising to Russian Buyers

As the Russian ruble costs less in comparison with the dollar and euro now, the Russians pay more attention to the cost of buying and maintaining their foreign properties. Those Russians who are interested in purchasing real estate internationally (each buyer in his own price range, of course) started to analyze more carefully how much the property would not only cost them up front, but also how much it would cost them annually in terms of utilities, maintenance, security, taxes, insurance, fees, etc.

This will be to your huge advantage in comparison with other sellers: in your property description tell the Russian buyers about the costs connected with their purchasing and then keeping your property - especially if you can say that the costs are not too high in your property's case.

The Russians are always concerned about security, and those who are going to use their foreign property not all the time, but periodically, would appreciate it very much if you tell them how the security of the property will be arranged.

In the past many Russians who owned vacation properties abroad had the tendency to keep them for their family only, but nowadays more and more often they start to rent their foreign properties out when they are not using their home or condo for themselves, or even they buy residential properties internationally with the only purpose to get some rental income in the foreign currencies.

It will be another enormous advantage of your property in the eyes of the Russian buyers if you research your area rental market upfront and in your property for sale description tell the potential Russian buyers how much they can rent it for - short term, long term or whatever is suitable in your property's case.

And the last, but not the least: know your country's laws that probably give a foreign buyer of real estate some immigration or residency rights now or in the future, and if your property for sale meets the requirements of your government's regulations of the matter, do not forget to tell your potential Russian buyers about it - some of them are looking for such opportunities.

To your best business success,

Sincerely,
