Covid, Ukraine, sanctions, inflation... what else? International real estate sales suffer from the world's instability in general, but at the same time the situation in various countries differ.

There is a list of countries that support the latest sanctions against Russia and another list of countries that do not... I won't publish the lists here as any of you know about your own country and the latest political developments in there. Also there are countries with easy international travel rules and there are others with hard rules - again a local issue.

The other day I heard from a European person wintering in Egypt (the country didn't join the sanctions against Russia) that many Russians and Ukrainians spend the winter over there. They all speak Russian and look exactly the same, so Egyptians are stunned: how do we know who is who? Anyway the Egyptian policemen successfully and immediately suppress any try of fighting among private foreign persons if people only think of starting such things - good!
