How Your Local Russian Community Can Help with Selling to Russian Buyers February 04, 2020 |
Hi Everyone,
Is there a Russian community in your area? If yes, then you may try and use this opportunity in your property marketing and selling to a Russian buyer. (It's a well-known fact that most of the time foreigners love to settle near one another in more or less the same neighborhoods - like birds:-)) Let's look at the US stats: 30% of the population of Chicken, Alaska are Russians - impressive, eh? But then we find out that the total population is 27 people (not thousands, but just 27!), and the perspectives to appeal to a Russian crowd do not look so great anymore… On a serious note, in New York, New York the Russian population is about 5%, but multiplied by the millions of the total number of people residing in NYC, it comprises just a market, right? (Then you'll need to conduct some more detailed research as Russians do live in some particular districts of the city and do not live in others…) Florida and California are also well-known for being very much loved by the Russian buyers of real estate (residential and commercial as well). There are also Russian communities in many other states and cities of the US. Of course, the local word-of-mouth can often tell you about the particular situation in your country and area. A rather large number of Russians that have already settled in your area, would definitely create a vibrant community: magazines and newspapers (with ads!) in Russian, Russian shops and restaurants, possibly even their own Russian Chamber of Commerce (!), etc. - all these local Russian establishments may present you with multiple and various opportunities to market your property for sale to the Russian buyers in Russian. (The potential Russian buyers for your property for sale may come from abroad – from Russia and other Russian-speaking countries - and also from your local Russian community, keep that in mind! Whether they are out of the country or in the country, they would prefer to search for a property to buy in Russian anyway.) If you need help with finding the best advertising options in Russian for your country and area, feel free to email me with your request.
To your best business success, Sincerely,
Olga Kellen, |
