Who is going to buy your property-for-sale? Portrait of a Russian buyer - part3 September 01, 2024 |
Hi Everyone,
In the past issues we started talking about: - Who is your buyer and what does he want? - What is the best way to reach him with your property-for-sale offer? And discussed the first two of the three motivated groups of Russian buyers for international properties: 1. investing abroad 2. relocating abroad 3. pursuing personal/family goals Now let’s talk about the third group in general. There is no advice that fits all and any type of property in any country and location, but anyway we’ll try to put together some common features of your property-for-sale presentation to be appealing to Russian buyers. Of course, if your property might be a good investment or fits your government’s regulations for foreigners to relocate to your country, go back to the previous two newsletters and include these attractions in your description. In a general case of selling to all kind of buyers who are willing to come for a vacation or business or whatever, you still should put yourself in a buyer’s shoes and explain what kind of privileges he would have if purchased just your property. Is it a home for a family that you sell? Then mention good schools and stores around, parks and kids’ playgrounds, for example. If it’s a condo for a single person, don’t forget nightclubs and entertainment nearby, etc… How close are beaches, airports, public transportation? You want to be more appealing than other properties in your class, thus do your best with your description! It’s a good idea to read what your competitors advertise before writing your own text for publication. Also remember that you are writing for a foreigner who might need help with interpreting, a local lawyer or notary to close a deal, so promise to provide. Need help with your description in Russian? Feel free to email me.
To your best business success, Sincerely,
Olga Kellen, |
